About the Opportunity

The Regional Inventory Planner is a key role supporting the success of the Rock Tools APAC Sales Area. You will help the business meet sales targets, manage working capital, and improve customer satisfaction by ensuring we have the right stock available at the right time. You will maintain optimal inventory levels across our network, working closely with internal teams to align stock with customer demand, production capability, and financial goals. You will also review slow-moving and obsolete stock and recommend actions to improve overall stock health across the region.

Responsibilities:

• Follow Sandvik’s safety policies and support our Zero Harm vision.
• Maintain high standards of health, safety, and quality in all work.
• Manage regional stock levels, including releasing replenishment orders and reviewing any order holds.
• Work closely with Sales and site teams to ensure reliable product supply.
• Partner with Sales and Demand Planning to set safety stock, lot sizes, and lead times.
• Help develop accurate demand forecasts with Demand Planners.
• Collaborate with Global Planning to maintain consistent supply across the region.
• Support new product introductions and trials with product line and applications teams.
• Take part in monthly demand reviews for trials and new products.
• Manage local purchasing and maintain pricing accuracy.
• Drive actions to reduce slow-moving and obsolete inventory.
• Analyse forecasts and stock levels to optimise inventory across all stockrooms.
• Work with Warehouse teams to resolve order issues and discrepancies.
• Liaise with Warehouse and Logistics to ensure on-time delivery and follow up on overdue shipments.

About you:

We’re looking for someone with experience in supply planning or inventory management. You may also be a great fit if you have technical or operational experience with products used in surface or underground mining and can use that knowledge to support sales and improve working capital. Strong Excel skills are important, and experience with SAP S4/HANA (Order Management or Materials Management) is a bonus.

This is a Monday-to-Friday role with flexible work options, allowing a mix of work-from-home and time in a nearby Sandvik office. The position also includes participation in an on-call roster on weekends and public holidays.
