Business Controller - Sales Cluster Nordics

Your mission

In this position, you undertake all business control duties that contribute to reaching our overall operational and financial goals for sales cluster Nordics. You drive performance management in a structured way to identify improvement potential, agree upon activities and follow-up on results. Through fulfilling all the main responsibilities, you support the execution of key activities and ensure performance according to expectations.

Included in your responsibilities:

  • Proactively provide period end reports and analysis.
  • Manage capital and project expenditures and cost control.
  • Partner with business by contributing to the Nordics Management team.
  • Continuously monitor performance and provide proactive ad-hoc analysis of current issues.
  • Provide recommendations and drive decision making.
  • Develop financial perspective on operational issues.
  • Support key business decisions with fact-based analysis and simulation.
  • Business planning activities with different timeframes, including contingency planning scenarios.
  • Contribute to the networks in business control by sharing knowledge, best practices and support competence development.

The preferred location for this position is Solna, Sweden. Other locations in the Nordics could also be an option. You have a flexible work schedule, and travel could happen in this position.

Your profile

We’re looking for someone with a university degree in Finance or Business Administration or equivalent experience in a business, commercial or finance controlling position. You possess an excellent understanding of financial processes, reporting and accounting, extensive knowledge and skills of pricing and profit management coupled with a well-developed business sense is important. Acting in a truly global environment calls for fluency in English, verbally and in writing.

You demonstrate high level presentation skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as excellent time management enabling you to meet tight deadlines. Working with continuous improvements is a natural part of your job and character and you feel comfortable searching for information – identifying solutions and challenging the norm. You’re flexible, react well to change and remain calm in the face of challenges, great assets to balance multiple priorities with ease!
