We embarked a seven-year global Business Transformation program enabled by IBM Maximo as of 2023. This is a greenfield implementation for Sandvik, a large Swedish multinational group referred to as the “Service Platform Project”.

We are now recruiting for a Service Business Specialist (P3) - for a Permanent role in our Dublin Office.

The purpose of the Business Specialist role is to represent the business interests and requirements of the Division by bringing knowledge of current business operations and taking responsibility for helping define and document how the business will operate in the future.

The role will be responsible for ensuring that Sales Area business practices are clearly identified and segregated into areas addressed by IBM Maximo system implementation and by our existing Global Management Operations team.

FUNCTIONAL AREA OF RESPONSIBILTY

This Business Specialist role will be aligned to the Business Reporting & KPI Workstream of the Service Platform project.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide insight into how the business operates today and ensure that the requirements of the Division are known and considered in the gap analysis stage of Service Platform rollout
  • Support in the preparation and running of process, solution and user experience design workshops taking accountability for closing out business requirement related actions and decisions
  • Work closely with the Sales Areas ensuring that a structured plan is put in place and followed accordingly for business improvement activities that fall outside the scope of the Service Platform implementation project
  • Support the Change Management team in assessing business change impacts and engaging with the business teams to drive adoption
  • Work with the post go-live support team to help support the business with the introduction of the new solution and processes, acting as a point of contact for business queries and issues that can be resolved without the need for system changes, i.e. training issue, data entry issue, etc

Experience

  • Newly qualified accountant (0-2 years PQE) or at Final Admittance Examination stage
  • Experience of managing projects and working with numerous stakeholders
  • Some industry business experience would be advantageous

Education, Licences, Certificates & Other

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Qualified accountant or at Final Admittance Examination stage
  • Ability to travel globally as required
