Sandvik Mining & Rock Solutions (SMR) is a leading supplier in equipment and tools, services and technical solutions for the mining and construction industries. To our Rock Tools division and the Plant Engineering Maintenance at Patancheru, Hyderabad, we are now looking for an Engineer- Maintenance to join us.
Job Purpose:
The role is responsible for learning, managing, and supervising shift electrical and electronics maintenance activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechatronics engineering, experience in a similar role, and a passion for learning and performing.
To be more specific, your main responsibilities to handle in this position are:
- Ensure environment, health and safety standards are being practiced at the workplace.
- Support EHS development activities and contribute to EHS culture development.
- Implement QEHSSA management systems in the working environment.
- Manage and supervise the shift Electrical & Electronics Maintenance activities.
- Ensure daily maintenance notifications are closed in SAP on daily basis.
- Analyze all major machine electrical breakdowns using root cause analysis tools.
- Plan critical spares required to ensure the reliability and uptime of Machines.
- Meet department KPI's which are set at the beginning of every year.
- Prepare of SOP/SWP for activities in Electrical Maintenance of machine tools.
- Develop technicians on technical aspects.
- Guide and co-ordinate with peers and technicians to achieve the desired goals set by the organization in maintenance.
- Develop vendor base for indigenizing the spares.
- Budgeting and controlling R&M expenses.
Your profile:
We are looking qualified mechatronics engineer who have completed course from NTTF institute having minimum 4 years of experience worked on similar job responsibilities. Candidate should be passion to learn quickly and perform. Worked with a strong EHS cultured organization is a distinct advantage and you understand the importance of a diverse workforce and collaborative settings.
