We embarked a seven year global Business Transformation program enabled by SAP S/4HANA in January 2021. This is a greenfield implementation for Sandvik, a large Swedish multinational group. Ireland was chosen as the central hub location for this business digitalisation initiative which we call the “Seamless Flow Program”. A second phase of the Program is now starting, with ambition to extend the template to our Sales Units

We are now recruiting for a Business Process Specialist - Service (Hybrid) - for a permanent role in our Dublin Office.
JOB PURPOSE
Support the end-to-end management and delivery of all service-related processes in Sandvik as part of Business as Usual (BAU) and the global implementation of the Service Platform (SP) Program (using IBM Maximo), ensuring a common and global way of working.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support development, design, testing and documentation of all service processes within Sandvik as part of BAU and the global implementation of the SP Program
- Provide guidance and support to service operations staff in Sandvik sales areas to build process and technical knowledge and ensure effective execution of processes and global ways of working as part of BAU and the SP Program
- Develop and support initiatives to enhance processes, working with cross – functional teams to implement changes, including Solution Development and Applications, Training and Programme Management teams
- Ensure processes and associated documentation are accurate, up-to-date and compliant with business requirements, system design, regulations and internal controls
- Track and measure key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure processes meet objectives and identify areas for further refinement
- Investigate and resolve complex issues and escalations arising from operational processes, ensuring high-quality output
- Identify and escalate process bottlenecks, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
- Liaise with various divisions, departments and external stakeholders as part of BAU, the SP Programme and the global rollout of SAP4HANA as part of Sandvik’s Seamless Flow Program
- Other ad hoc duties as requested by management
Experience
- 3 to 5 years in process design / support, within industry and / or from a consulting background
- Process mapping, modelling and workflow tools, such as MS Visio, ARIS, or others
- Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills to effectively collaborate and present findings across different levels of the organization
- Ability to develop documentation to a professional standard, with proficiency in MS Office applications (MS PowerPoint, MS Word)
- Proficient in gathering and interpreting data to make informed decisions about process improvements, including use of supporting tools such as MS Excel. Experience of PowerBI an advantage
- Capable of troubleshooting and developing practical solutions for technical and operational challenges
- Ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and propose data-driven solutions
- Experience in supporting projects and change initiatives to deliver measurable business outcomes
- Experience of working cross-functionally and as part of a global, multi-national organization
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and deadlines
- Be self-motivated, focused, and results-oriented
- Experience of IBM Maximo, SAP4HANA or other service and / ERP systems an advantage
Education, Licenses & Certificates
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, technology, engineering, or related field
- Six Sigma and Lean Six Sigma an advantage
- PRINCE2 or similar an advantage
