Sandvik Mining and Construction DRC is a Sales Unit based in Lubumbashi, within Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions, a Business Area, a leading supplier of equipment and tools, service and support for the mining industry. We also provide solutions and knowledge in a wide range of applications such as rock drilling, rock cutting, loading and hauling, tunnelling and quarrying.

Your role

To support sales activities for SRP in the Territory Central Africa through both sales and technical queries.

Your mission

  • Manages major accounts across a region.

  • Responsible for the realization of sales objectives within the assigned group.

  • Responsible for maintaining relationships with the key account and for the negotiation of customer contracts in accordance with the overall company sales strategy.

  • Coordinates the activities of all functions with whom the customer has direct contact in order to provide a consistent and cohesive service.

  • Monitors competitive activity within accounts and disseminates information to relevant parties Develop and maintain strategic business relationships with major accounts to promote brand awareness and profitable business relationships.

  • Provide ongoing support to high-value clients ensuring they receive high-quality customer service.

  • Responsible for retaining long-term customer relationships with established clients.

  • Serve as a liaison between clients and company departments. Inform clients of new products and services as they are introduced.

  • Recommend products and services that fit well with clients' business needs.

  • Ensure adherence to the EHS Policy and Company Values with a focus on EHS in daily work.

Your profile

You have proactiveness, strong listening and logical interpretation skills, and advanced communication abilities. You must be flexible, self-reliant, and a self-starter with excellent time management skills and a strong focus on meeting deadlines. Analytical capabilities, a robust understanding of and adherence to workplace Health and Safety standards, and the ability to function independently with responsibility and minimal supervision are essential.

You possess strong follow-through to ensure task completion, outcome-oriented performance, and advanced computer literacy, particularly proficiency in MS Office, with a strong emphasis on Excel.

You also possess very detailed product knowledge as well as a thorough knowledge of the client's business. Salesforce experience (or other similar CRM system) will be highly beneficial
